The room was spacious and came with snacks and a tea set, which was a nice touch. Everything was in good condition. the price was a bit high at US$25152, but the location was fantastic. It was a short walk to a unique and interesting restaurant, as well as the mountains and the bus stop. 🏞️

Mind-blowing traditional hotel with spacious rooms, private onsen bath, and delicious, plentiful meals. Free wi-fi, on-site parking, and excellent service from friendly hosts. A car is required to reach this scenic gem.

The hotel is located near the main road, which means you can enjoy the constant noise of passing cars and trucks, even with the windows closed. the bus connections to the nearest station are also not very frequent, so you can spend more time waiting for the bus than actually exploring.
The staff is very friendly and some of them even speak a little bit of English. But don't get too excited, because the breakfast is absolutely delicious, but also way too expensive.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome despite the language barrier. The bath houses with their clean and warm onsen were a highlight, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. the location of the hotel offered a picturesque setting, ideal for those seeking a peaceful and scenic getaway.
The lack of a shower facility in the family room, with only public bathrooms available. This made it a bit inconvenient, especially during busy periods.

We had a wonderful stay at this newly furnished ryokan and onsen. The staff were incredibly friendly and some could speak a bit of English. The breakfast and dinner prepared by the hotel were amazing, exceeding our expectations in terms of quality. The highlight of our stay was definitely the family baths. With four private onsens, we never had to wait to use one. The facilities were clean and the temperature of the baths was perfect. our experience at Minshuku Asogen was simply great.
Nothing could have been better! 😊
